Not really. Crouch and Gonzalez were **** and rightly taken off. Kuyt and Garcia had a better effect on the game than the other 2 did. It was just a pity that Bellers went off injured.

You're right. But they didn't make us stronger either.

I think Kuyt and Crouch are pretty much the same player. I don't really think Garcia did anything.

Didn't know Bellamy went off injured.

          Blurred vision apparently.

Kuyt was more willing to run this afternoon than Crouch was. Kuyt had one chance really and forced a save. Crouch, you could argue had the easier chances. Both finished as bad as each other but Kuyt seemed to work more, for me anyway.

Garcia, well he had more of a goal threat than Gonzalez did today. Even if it was only one shot on goal, it was one more shot and goal scoring position than that other useless ****er had today.

Well Kuyt replaced Crouch. Even stevens there for me.

Aurelio replaced Gonzales. I think Gonzales did better than him even if he didn't do much.

Then Garcia replaced Bellamy. Injury but still Garcia wasnt as good as Bellamy way.

Overall then, thinking back, I'll stand by my original statement I think.

The substitutes weakened us I'd say. It can only be made to look better by comparing Garcia with Gonzales but in truth thats not who he replaced.

my friend ... how long can i pretend that we are capable of winning the title this season ... up to today it was a FAR possibility ...but the way we performed today just showed that something is WRONG. its either the bunch of players we have or its benitez ... now im the biggest fan of benitez that there is ... but have you EVER heard him say that he is confident the next game is going to be easy ?... or the season is still in our reach ?..... but all we hear from him is 'we take chances and i dont know how the ****ing ball dosen't go in' i mean cammon man he ****ed up ...he should have made a change at half time ..according to the way we were playing ... any way im just very very dissapointed ... i know some of you will say oh its only one loss after so long ...but who have we beaten ..all ****ign ****e teams ...when it comes to a decent ****ign team we lose .. i know im gonna regret all this sht tomorrow ..but **** it ... this is what i think right now ...i still love our manager... but this season ...its either the players a ****ign up big time or else benitez and his backroom staff have it all wrong ..

You can't have pretentions about being a top team if you're as wasteful as we are. We are so inefficient it's not funny.

What I admire about Chelsea is their efficiency - they probably dont create as many chances as we do, but 3-4 are usually enough for them to win the match. We on the other hand have double the number of opportunities and still lose.

We do not have a clinical finisher at the club, and until we start converting a higher proportion of our chances we'll never be title challengers. We need to be able to mix it up and rise to the challenge when teams start to get stuck in. We were woefully second best when Blackburn started to become more physical - a lot of our player's didnt look interested in the second half.
